Unwrap the ribbons one by one. But the wrapped shape lies: look through the windows, listen, turn the package, guess what is inside, and give it to the one who will love it most.
Ruban Pop is a calm puzzle game about unwrapping. Every level is a shape covered in satin ribbons: a sitting cat, a teapot, an owl, a snail, a gift box. Touch a loose ribbon and it unwinds towards the bobbin of its colour. Fill the bobbins, empty the shape, and see what was hiding inside.
One gesture, a lot of matter
A ribbon is free only when nothing covers it, front or back. When it leaves, its neighbours shiver and the ribbon underneath relaxes. Bobbins fill ring by ring; a full bobbin flies away and the next one slides in. Ribbons with no bobbin wait in the chute, and the chute empties itself in a cascade as soon as a bobbin of their colour has room.
The shape lies, the label never
The wrapped shape suggests one answer and hides another. Three silhouettes sit in your notebook, and the first hint that contradicts one of them strikes it through. Hints arrive as you work: at a quarter of the ribbons a sound, at half a bump, at three quarters a slot that opens on one small detail, never enough to be sure. Dotted windows light up when the last ribbon over them leaves. A free knock makes the shell ring: hollow, metal, wood or fur. From world 3, swipe to turn the package and read its back.
Guess, then give the gift
Tap a silhouette to bet on it: it costs nothing, changes nothing in the rest of the level, and a right bet adds Mercis, a star and the golden version of the surprise. Then the shell opens in petals, and you choose who receives it: Mochi the pearl-grey kitten, Lulu the caramel otter or Grelot the amber hedgehog. Each has tastes, wishes and a story told one gift at a time. No answer ever makes anyone sad.
A day, not a session
Three hearts per level, no timer anywhere, no countdown, unlimited free undo. Three hints and one optional video to double your Mercis. A new gift waits on the counter every day, a weekly promise card, a calendar that never resets, two small packages that ripen while you are away, and a shelf and a room to furnish with the stars you win. 120 levels in 6 worlds, each world adding one idea: knots, the back of the package, hidden colours, counter knots, sheaves of strands and zoom.
